Emily joined the Ingleside Animal Hospital team in 2025. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Program, working toward her certification as a veterinary technician. Her experience includes working in a mobile vaccine clinic and providing pet sitting services, further strengthening her skills in animal care.
Emily's passion for working with animals began at a young age. Inspired by her aunt, a veterinarian she saw on TV, she knew early on that she wanted to dedicate her career to animal healthcare. She believes that when you love what you do, work becomes more fulfilling and enjoyable.
Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Emily moved to Scottsdale at the age of three. With her parents hailing from Sweden and Iceland, she frequently visits both countries. Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through painting, sculpting, and other art forms, as well as watching movies.
Emily shares her home with her three beloved domestic shorthair cats—Nola (13), Teddy (3), and Bobo (4).
