Soul's Story Soul was rescued by a lady who saw this dying dog over a fence. She asked the owners if she could take the dog. After being told “no” she offered the people $5 for the paralyzed dog and they handed her over the fence. A couple hours later Poverty’s Pets volunteers came to visit this lady just by chance. When they saw the dog they immediately rushed it to the vets. She was completely paralyzed; unable to eat or drink, grossly underweight, and possibly suffering from tick fever. After a few days she showed slight improvement and decided to eat when offered cheap junky dog food. She can now eat, drink and go to the bathroom on her own
She runs around with stiff legs and we call her our Little Road Runner!
