Ingleside Animal Hospital offers boarding for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and reptiles. Reservations are required for boarding. We have separate boarding areas for cats and dogs, and large runs where bigger dogs can feel more comfortable. Pets can be dropped off or picked up during regular business hours.

For the safety of all animals, we require all boarded dogs to be current and up to date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo/Adenovirus (DAP) and Bordetella/Parainfluenza vaccines. Cats must be current on Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis/Chlamydia/Calici virus/Panleukopenia (FVRCCP) and Rabies vaccines. If we are not your regular veterinary provider and your pet is current on his/her vaccinations, proof of vaccination will be required. We also can call your regular veterinarian for proof of vaccination. All boarding dogs are required to be on an external parasite prevention program such as Frontline. If not, a tick dip will be required at the owner's expense. In addition, if a medical condition arises during your pets stay your pet will be treated by one of our doctors at the owner's expense.

To make your pet's stay with us less stressful, we encourage you to bring his/her toys, bedding, or anything that will remind them of home. Dogs are walked outside twice daily in our exercise yard. Both dog and cat cages/runs are cleaned a minimum of twice daily (or more frequently if needed). We also provide your pet with a premium diet during their stay. We feed dogs Eukanuba Lo Residue diet and cats Iams Cat Food. If your pet is on a special diet, or you do not wish to change his/her feeding habits, their regular diet can be offered as well. If your pet is on any medication we recommend that you bring it in you so it can be administered according to the recommended schedule.

Before your pet is allowed to stay with us, we will ask you to fill out and sign a boarding agreement/release form. This form can be downloaded prior to drop off for your convenience or it can be filled out at time of drop off at our hospital. Please note that this form does not constitute a reservation and that our boarding space is limited. If you plan to leave your pet at our hospital, please make sure you call us ahead of time.
