Dr. Serbin is the Medical Director and owner of Ingleside Animal Hospital. Since assuming leadership of Ingleside Animal Hospital, Dr. Serbin has consistently strived to advance the quality and scope of the services the hospital is able to offer its clients. He is committed to providing state-of-the-art, compassionate, and individualized care to every patient, and to be sure that all pet owners have the personal attention they need to be able to make informed, educated decisions about their pets’ health.

Dr. Serbin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Phoenix. He attended grade school at Madison Simis and Madison Meadows and high school at Central High. After receiving his bachelor’s in science in animal health services at the University of Arizona in 1991, he attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Upon graduation in 1995, he returned to Phoenix to practice small animal medicine.

He purchased Ingleside in 2000 from Dr. Bert Teskey, who had previously owned the practice since 1970. Since then, the practice has grown and thrived and moved into a new state-of-the-art facility in December 2008.

Dr. Serbin has also been involved with the veterinary profession, having served as the president of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association in 2008–2009. He is currently serving a five-year term on the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board, having been appointed in 2010 by Governor Jan Brewer, after having chaired the Examining Board’s Investigative Committee for five years.

Dr. Serbin is married and the father of two boys.
